As the West End production of Legally Blonde continues its successful run, the British Film Institute is celebrating blondes on film, in an industry fascinated by the species. Blonde hairstyles we see in movies will always be with us although modern versions are more natural, easier to recreate and less clichéd to the character. Dr Bolton, who will be blogging on blondes, said: “Blondes are less of a trope than they used to be.”
