A study by Exeter University shows that institutions paying their staff higher salaries are likely to outperform their rivals and rank well in national league tables. A Times Higher Education salary survey revealed Queen Mary awarded their staff with the highest salaries in the sector. Principal Professor Simon Gaskell said “the lifeblood of a successful university is its staff” and that the College “believes in investing in and rewarding success”.
