QMUL’s Life Sciences Initiative (LSI) has strong partnerships with the public and private sectors.
Our partnerships are diverse and include collaborations with other research groups and industry around the world on specific projects, relationships with funding organisations such as government and charities, partnerships at the local level with community and patient groups, schools and NHS trusts, and liaison with regeneration and planning partners.
These partnerships are vital to ensuring that the LSI has the ability to identify and fund research in areas that will have a real impact on improving human health locally, nationally and internationally. Good partnerships enable our researchers to work with other world class investigators and our students to be educated and trained by some of the best people in this country and, indeed, the world. Similarly, our relationships with those involved in the regeneration of the local area are important for our plans for the new Life Sciences Institute.
Here are some examples of our partnerships.
