The LSI Centre for Genomic Health to sponsor 10 places: Applications now open
The School of Genomic Medicine is a 3-day ‘express’ course directed to clinicians and other health care professionals who may be interested to learn about genomics but don’t have the time to undertake a full time MSc course.
The proposed programme, please see attached, is based on the curriculum of the MSc Genomic Medicine and is structured to provide a compact overview of genomics and its application in patient diagnosis and treatment. The course includes a combination of lectures and workshops delivered by international experts in the field, as well as two key-note talks and a debate on a ‘future big question’ to stimulate scientific discussion among the participants.
The Centre for Genomic Health is sponsoring 10 places for both clinical and non-clinical staff on a competitive basis. To apply, send a one page letter stating your current position, why are you interested in genomic medicine and how this course may help you to progress further in this field to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 20th.
