The ISSF/QMUL award supports three posts that are critical to the progress of the Life Sciences Initiative and the development of the proposed Life Sciences Institute:
- A Programme Director (who will focus primarily on external engagement work)
- A Programme Manager (who will mainly provide professional services management support for the Initiative)
- A 0.5 fte Programme Officer (who will provide administrative support for the Initiative).
We are also dedicating 0.5 fte position to support the Life Sciences Initiative with regard to their general researcher development needs, via a 0.5 fte post in the Centre for Academic and Professional Development.
Finally, we are dedicating a 0.5 post in our Quality and Diversity team to support work towards ensuring significantly greater engagement of protected groups in all our life sciences activities. More details on these two posts will be available shortly.
