Global partnerships

Our global partnerships are essential in delivering our overall strategic aims through research and teaching collaborations. Queen Mary is actively engaging with more than 250 institutions across the world on a range of different collaborations.

As a leading research-led institution, we are committed to building an international presence through activities that transcend national boundaries and which allow us to engage with talented students and researchers at like-minded institutions in all parts of the world.

Through the work of the International Partnerships team, we have established a range of educational collaborations with overseas institutions. Through this global network, we have developed more than 150 educational opportunities with institutions for students. Working together with universities, these links provide students with a unique opportunity to study in both their home country and at Queen Mary. When establishing new agreements, we work with partners to explore different collaborative models, to ensure the right educational model for students and institutions.

We also support our academic community in developing links with institutions overseas, providing contacts through our existing network as well providing advice and guidance for colleagues establishing new initiatives. For example, supporting colleagues with development of research networks, research grant submissions and funding opportunities.

Our reach extends beyond Higher Education Institutions as we have many connections to funding bodies, government agencies and research institutes and industry across the globe.

If you are interested in collaborating with Queen Mary, please contact the International Partnerships team – international-partnerships@qmul.ac.uk
