Master's degrees (all one year):
The usual requirements are a good second class honours degree from a UK university, a recognised equivalent from an accredited overseas institution or an equivalent professional qualification. Students with a three year Diploma from a recognised institution may apply for the Postgraduate Foundation Programme [new window], a year long course which will gain them access to a Master's programme.

The usual entrance requirement for a research degree is a Master's degree with upper class second honours from a UK or accredited overseas university. However many departments also accept student with the equivalent of an upper second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university.
