Queen Mary has a long history of welcoming students from around the World. Over the years, many thousands of international students have graduated from the college and gone on to pursue successful careers. Recognition of Ukrainian qualifications for Undergraduate Foundation Courses (1 year)
Academic:
- • Overall minimum average at least 4/5 or 8/12 in the Atestat, taken at Grade 11..

Recognition of Ukrainian qualifications for Undergraduate Entry
Academic:
- Queen Mary or other UK Foundation course (grade B)
- A levels (grades A-C)
- International Baccalaureate (IB)
Please refer to the prospectus and department web sites for individual subject A’ level and IB requirements.
English Language Requirements:
- Please refer to English language and foundation courses for different course requirements.
- Students with A’ levels or IB will not require IELTS or TOEFL
- Students who achieve slightly below these requirements may be admitted onto a presessional English course at Queen Mary. Please see the Entry Level Guidelines for English Language for full details.

Recognition of Ukrainian qualifications for Graduate Entry
Master's degrees (all one year)
Academic:
The following qualifications will be considered for entry onto a Queen Mary Master’s degree:
- Dyplom Bakalavra (Bakalavr Diploma) - when undertaken as a Bologna degree from 2005
- Dyplom Spetsialista (Specialist Diploma)
- Dyplom Magistra (Magister Diploma)
- Exact grade requirements will depend on the level you have studied at, but you will usually need to achieve at least 4/5 or 8/12.
Please note that all applications are considered on an individual basis and students may be admitted to Master's programmes with a lower level degree if they have work experience relevant to the degree applied for.

Research degree (MPhil/PhD: 3 years)
Academic:
- The usual entrance requirement for a research degree is a Master's degree from a UK university or a Dyplom Magistra (Magister Diploma) or above from a recognised university in the Ukraine.
