Queen Mary has a long history of welcoming students from around the world. Over the years, many thousands of international students have graduated from the college and gone on to pursue successful careers. Today, we are home to students from more than 100 different countries. This diversity contributes to a lively and welcoming community which should make you feel comfortable and at home.

One of the largest colleges of the University of London and one of the few with fully integrated teaching, research and residential facilities, our setting gives you the benefits both of a large campus environment and of the countless academic and social opportunities of London.

There are about 80 students from Taiwan studying on campus at Queen Mary in the areas of Business Management, Economics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Law, Mathematics, Human Resource Management, Engineering and Materials Science, Biological & Chemical Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Entry requirements for Taiwanese students to study at Queen Mary

Undergraduate Entry

Postgraduate entry

  • Students who have graduated with a bachelor's qualification from a recognised institution in Taiwan will be considered for entry onto a master's programme with 70-75% or above.
  • Students who have graduated with a master's qualification with 75% or above from good institutions may be considered for PhD level studies.
  • All students must be able to prove proficiency in the English language by taking internationally validated tests such as IELTS or TOEFL.
