Science without Borders scheme
Queen Mary, University of London is one of the UK institutions participating in the new Brazilian Scholarships scheme “Science without Borders”. This scheme enables Brazilian students to receive scholarships to study at overseas institutions for one-year undergraduate study abroad programmes as well as at postgraduate level on both split and full PhD programmes.
Queen Mary has a strong network of institutional links in Brazil and to build on these links a delegation of academics from Queen Mary visited Brazil in March 2012 to meet with some leading Brazilian institutions to discuss areas of potential joint activity and to identify opportunities made possible by Science without Borders.
