ESR awarded bursary to attend the World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology in Kyoto
Silvia Oggero (ESR1), based at Queen Mary University London was awarded a prestigious bursary to attend the World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology in Kyoto from the 1st - 6th of July 2018.

Over 4,500 participants from 83 countries attended this international conference which included plenary lectures from world leaders spanning many different areas. Key note speakers included Feng Zhang, Garrett Fitzgerald and Nancy Brown. Cutting edge lectures were given in the fields of neuroscience, pain, immunology, stem cell medicine, metabolism and diabetes and many more. Silvia presented a poster on her research entitled "Microvessicles in cardiovascular inflammation: markers or mediators of cardiovascular dieases?"
