Profile

Ugo Grossi is actively working on the NIHR-funded CapaCiTY programme. His main clinical interests are diagnosis and surgical management of benign coloproctological disorders.

Summary

Ugo Grossi gained his first medical degree from Catholic University of Rome in 2007. He completed his training in General Surgery at Policlinico ‘A. Gemelli’ University Hospital, Catholic University of Rome in 2015. 

He is based at the National Bowel Research Centre (NBRC) as surgical research fellow and is currently registered as a PhD student at Queen Mary. He is actively working on the NIHR-funded CapaCiTY programme.

His main clinical interests are in the surgical management of benign coloproctological disorders. His current research is focused on evaluation of lower gastrointestinal tract diagnostics for guiding therapy.
