I joined the Centre for Trauma Research (C4TS) as a Data Manager in early 2017 with a background in chemistry (BSc University of Seville, Spain) and toxicology (MSc, University of Surrey). My last role before I joined the team was working for Cancer Research UK as a Precision Medicine Data Analyst and prior to that I have held several positions in charities and academia.
My role within the group includes maintaining legacy data and record management systems for the C4TS and ensuring the robust, confidential and standardized collection and uploading of study participant data to trial databases, supporting group coordinators to manage their data and research study activities both at The Royal London Hospital and across international sites.
I am very interested in helping patients with the aid of clinical trials and data management and more specifically in how big data, information technology, R programming, data visualisation and biostatistics can help expedite clinical research.
