Annual Fund 2011
Queen Mary, University of London has been seeking support from alumni for many years through direct mail and face-to-face meetings. Much of the income raised so far has gone into scholarships and bursaries to help students who would have otherwise been deterred from coming to study here, as well as enhancing the student experience on campus.
Our students know about life at Queen Mary today but they also know that things will be tough after they graduate, so the opportunity to talk to alumni allows them to not only hear about the College in the past, but also to learn about possible career pathways and discuss how former students can help current and future students.
During 2011, some alumni were called between 14 November and 11 December.
