Offer your help

Careers advice

Alumni from all walks of life have offered their support to Queen Mary by giving up their time to speak at careers events organised by the College. These events give alumni an opportunity to share their work experience and knowledge while giving careers advice to current students; assisting them in preparing for their first job.

Please contact us if you would like to offer your support.

Graduate employment

The Higher Education Statistical Agency [new window] revealed that 95 per cent of Queen Mary graduates are employed or in further study six months after graduating. Can you help us to maintain or improve this position?

Let us know if your organisation offers student placements or is looking to recruit graduates, whether for part-time or full-time work, voluntary positions or internships.

These will be advertised to our students and graduates through the Queen Mary’s Careers Service [new window], which we hope will help to develop your company's profile on campus. Please contact us if you would like to participate in this project.

Student recruitment

Our former students are amongst the College's best ambassadors. We would like you to spread the word about Queen Mary’s excellence in teaching and research.

Please let us know if you:

  • are a secondary school teacher
  • are a career advisor for 16-18-year olds
  • live or work overseas
  • have children who are approaching university age
