Impact of degree on career choice and current opportunities
I changed from banking into sales after seven years. I realised that a career in sales makes better use of my interpersonal skills, creativity, analytical thinking and competitiveness. At PepsiCo, I am responsible for customer relations and sales to all licensed and leisure customers for Walkers Crisps, Quaker and Tropicana.
Advice to current students
Go travelling, volunteer or do any other confidence building activities and widen your life experiences before starting your career.
