Impact of degree on career choice and current opportunities
The skills I learnt from studying history: analysis, getting facts and collecting data, led me into a career in marketing and market research. I now head the International Office at RGU where I am responsible for recruiting students from outside the UK and EU.
Advice to current students
Enjoy your time at university: it goes too fast. Don't rush into any job: research available options and what suits you first you can always adjust if you change your mind.
