I completed the RAF advanced flying training in the Fast Jet Stream on the Hawk. I have been selected to become an Instructor before continuing on to weapons and tactics training.
Impact of degree on career choice and current opportunities
Aerospace Engineering was the ideal choice for flying in the military but any degree subject is acceptable. The social side and team work was beneficial. Queen Mary's location at Mile End brought me into contact with a huge variety of different people and cultures which built my general community and society awareness.
