The Lifelong Email Address is beneficial when writing your CV or applying for jobs as it indicates that you are part of the Queen Mary, University of London community.
You may opt for an ‘another@alumni.qmul.net’ address which is prefixed by your name or College username.
The Lifelong Email Address is different from your College student email address. Instead it acts as a forwarding account which means that any emails which are sent to your ‘@alumni.qmul.net’ address will be forwarded to an account nominated by yourself, e.g. another@yahoo.com
The Lifelong Email Address is primarily available to graduates from 2004 onwards.

Queen Mary Alumni ID card and benefits
The Queen Mary Alumni ID card entitles you to a Lifelong Email Address (available to all graduates since 2004). Recent graduates have found this professional email address especially useful when applying for jobs.
The Queen Mary Alumni ID card also offers you an opportunity to continue your Queen Mary library membership for reference purposes; you will be able to use this card to access the library during its opening hours.
The library is a useful resource for those of you who are preparing to continue your education or those who are undertaking any other work-related research.
Other benefits include a 10 per cent discount in The Gallery Restaurant on the Mile End campus for pre-booked tables, and a discount off of conference and holiday room bookings.

How to apply
Print off our application form [Word DOC] and send it with 2 passport-sized photos in a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Please note there is a £12 replacement charge if you lose your library card.
