Professor Brian Colvin
Brian qualified from Cambridge and The London in 1969. Having specialised in haematology, he became Director of Barts and The London's Haemophilia Centre. Brian was briefly President of The London Hospital Medical Club before becoming Assistant Warden and later Dean for Student Affairs, in which capacity he has been a familiar figure to several generations of Barts and The London students.
Upon his retirement from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry at the beginning of October 2008, Brian was awarded an Honorary Professorship at Queen Mary.

If you are interested in getting involved with how BATLAA is run, you are invited to join the BATLAA committee which meets two to three times a year.
The BATLAA AGM traditionally takes place during William Harvey Day which is held in October at St Bartholomew's Hospital.
The 2012 AGM will be held at 1pm in the Peggy Turner Room in the North Wing at Barts during William Harvey Day.
