Barts and The London Alumni Association (BATLAA)

BATLAA is a lively alumni association providing continuing links between all Barts and The London medical and dental graduates and Barts and The London, School of Medicine and Dentistry.

The Association was formed in 2000 following the merger of the Barts Alumni Association, The London Hospital Dental Club and The London Hospital Medical Club. All former students who qualified from The London Hospital Medical College, The London Hospital Dental College and St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College, as well as the current Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry are automatically members.

All members receive Barts and The London Chronicle (BLC) sent free of charge. The magazine offers a lively mixture of alumni news; items contributed by students about their electives, supported by alumni giving to the Benevolent Funds and the QMUL Foundation as well as articles about Barts and The London Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. The Association hosts annual medical and dental clinical meetings in London, as well as supporting special interest, regional and overseas groups; these include The London Hospital Dental Club; the St Bartholomew's Decennial Clubs; and the Barts and The London Cambridge and Oxford Graduates' Club.

Members are encouraged to take part in the annual Queen Mary Alumni Reunion Weekend which is held in early October each year.

The Association also supports current student opportunities through its Benevolent Funds and the Queen Mary, University of London Foundation. You can find out more about how your support can help current students here.
