Water Regulations Certificate Presentation

18 October 2012

Water Regulations

The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 replaced the old Water Byelaws. The intention of the Regulations is to ensure that any installations are installed and maintained to a high standard. This also ensures maximum efficiency with minimisation of water consumption and wastage. Also purity of water, public health and legionella control is taken into account.  Those registered as members are entitled to certify works completed and conform to the Regulations.

On 13 December 2011, a certificate presentation was made to Maintenance staff who have completed Water Regulations training by Thames Water.
