QMUL Bike Week Events – 12th & 13th May 2015
13 August 2015
QMUL Sustainability are encouraging staff and students to get on their bikes this May! Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a novice, we’re going to be out on campus encouraging you to travel sustainability.
On Tuesday 12th May from 10am – 4pm QMUL Sustainability will be out in Mile End campus’s Library Square providing free bike maintenance with Dr Bike, free cycle security marking from the Metropolitan Police, information on free local cycle safety training from Bikeworks, and free smoothies if you pedal on our smoothie bikes. You can also find out more about TfL’s plans for the expansion of the Cycle Super Highway 2 upgrade on Mile End Road, and learn more about the PASTA project and their efforts to increase understandings of the way people travel around East London. The Sustainability team will be on hand to provide you with details of other local travel schemes, and QMUL's bike loan scheme.
On Wednesday 13th May QMUL Sustainability will be at Charterhouse Square campus from 11am-3pm. Pay us a visit for free bike maintenance from Dr Bike, and a free smoothie from our smoothie bike. We’ll also be providing details on QMUL’s bike loan scheme, so come and talk to us if you’re looking to start cycling.
