Becoming a volunteer Green Mary Project Assistant is a great practical way of getting involved in the sustainability initiatives taking place across the QMUL.
Staff Green Mary teams form in offices across QMUL and compete to complete a workbook of green and sustainable changes through the year. Teams are awarded bronze, silver and gold awards at the end of the year in line with their achievements.
As a project assistant you will work alongside a team of staff throughout the year, helping them to green their department in a fun and creative way. The Project Assistant role is a great opportunity to develop key skills for your CV including leadership, communication, team work, and environmental management. The role is flexible around lectures, and you’ll give between 2 and 10 hours of your time a month.
No previous experience is needed, just enthusiasm. We provide training before you start in the role. Free training, run by experienced Sustainability professionals, will be held on 13th October with 90-minute sessions held through the afternoon at 12pm, 1.30pm and 3pm.
